Monday July 8th, Mondrian Animals
We used Tempera Paint, gadgets, and rollers, to create textured paper similar to Eric Carle.
Due to a short rain shower not all the textured paper didn't dry in time to be used for the collage
Instead, I put out a variety of textured paper left over from the school year.
I was amazed with the amount of animals and details they all added to their pieces!

Friday July 12th, Miro Animals
After discussing Joan Miro, students drew an animals using basic shapes and applied pastel and water and tempera in a process called Wax Resist.
